Our focus at ignition is always on making a positive difference in people’s lives. The past few months, this focus seems to be targeted on positive differences in “communities.” We have traveled to a number of international communities as we shepherded the global portion of the Olympic Torch Relay around the world. Witnessing the universal passion that transcends national boundaries is amazing, and it continues for our team as they crisscross the massive country of China, visiting thousands of communities before the Opening Ceremony in August. This is but one of many programs in 2008 that ignition has touched communities in new and uniquely experiential ways. Several are included with this issue of NFTF.
We have also seen the impact we can make on communities when we reduce the carbon footprint of our clients’ marketing programs. Our green initiatives have expanded into an integrated Eco-Experiential marketing service for our clients and include numerous environmentally-friendly alternatives for suppliers, vendors and materials. As further evidence of our innovation and leadership in this area, ignition was honored to participate this month in the first Green Event Summit, leading the program as one of the keynote speakers.
Finally, we have celebrated our first ten years of business by continuing to work with our own communities to build stronger relationships. One in particular is the expanded work opportunities in South Georgia that our Global Fabrication Center represents. We remain excited about our industry and will continue our agency’s efforts to make a positive difference.
Regards,
Susan and Dill
